History of Medicine

The University of Calgary has a large collection of print and online resources relevant to the study of the History of Medicine: primary sources (original books and articles), bibliographies, reference materials, and other content. 

While you can access many resources online, many print items can be found in the library. The Health Sciences Library History of Medicine Collection includes:

• Original titles from the 18th and 19th centuries (some with reprints)
• Different editions of medical textbooks
• Canadian material relating to the History of Medicine
