Searching for Articles
Use the many databases that can help you find information from the database list by subject. Search the databases for the term "indigenous" , or use the drop down for all subjects and select Indigenous studies.
However, these are just a starting point. For example, if you are looking for information on the health of Native Women in Canada, you will also want to search databases by using the terms Health Sciences and Canadian Studies . To find information on Native Land Claims, you will want to look at databases in Law, History, Canadian Studies, and Government Documents.
You should also search other Research guides using the search term aboriginal or Indigenous to find suggested resources related to law, environment, etc.
If at any point you have questions, feel free to contact your Indigenous Studies Librarian using the contact information .
