Searching for Articles
Use the many databases that can help you find information from the database list by subject. If you are looking for databases concerning indigenous studies, you can filter by subject as we have done at the following link: Indigenous Studies Database list
However, these are just a starting point. For example, if you are looking for information on the health of First Nations Women in Canada, you will also want to search databases by using the terms Health Sciences and Canadian Studies . To find information on Indigenous Land Claims, you will want to look at databases in Law, History, Canadian Studies, and Government Documents.
You should also search other University of Calgary Research Guides using the search term aboriginal or Indigenous to find suggested resources related to law, environment, etc. A list of our Research Guides are available at the following link: https://libguides.ucalgary.ca/
If at any point you have questions, feel free to contact your Indigenous Studies Librarian using the librarian search option available here: https://libguides.ucalgary.ca/prf.php
