World Data - Clean Energy Resources and Projects (CERP)The Map of Clean Energy Resources and Projects (CERP) in Canada is an interactive map for learning about Canada’s extensive clean-energy resources and projects. By definition, clean energy comprises renewable energy, electric vehicles, nuclear energy, biofuels, and carbon capture and storage (CCS). The latter (CCS) is considered as clean energy since it can significantly reduce global CO2 emissions resulting from fossil-fuel–based power generation and from emission-intensive industrial processes such as oil refining and the production of iron and steel, cement, and chemicals.
