What is research
Research is about more than gathering and summarizing information. It requires a real question and developing a position, often expressed as a 'thesis' statement. The video below (from Laurier University) walks you through narrowing your topic down through developing specific questions that direct your research and help you develop a thesis. It also refers you a helpful research question worksheet.
