You will need Adobe Digital Editions to download ebooks to your laptop or desktop. This free software is different from Adobe Reader.

Step 1: New Reader Downloads - Device

Step 2: New Reader Downloads - Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)

Step 3: New Reader - Complete Download

Here is an example of a full title download in Adobe Digital Editions.

When on your mobile device, you will be guided through the 3 step download process for mobile.

Users can download a book for offline reading on either their tablet or phone (iOS and Android are supported) using the Bluefire Reader for mobile devices (freely available for iOS devices in the App Store and for Android devices in Google Play).

Step 1: New Reader Downloads - Select Mobile Device

Step 2: New Reader Handheld Device & Bluefire App

Step 3: New Reader - Complete Download

Here is an example of a full title download in Bluefire Reader (on Android)

Searching

Searching within an eBook is a powerful tool to access relevant information on your research topic. Once within the eBook, use the Search within book feature to locate relevant content.

Search Results

For a quick view of the distribution of the searched term in the book, you’ll see a list of chapters, similar to the table of contents. To the right of each chapter title, is a visual indication of the frequency of the search term in the chapter (more color, more hits).

To drill down, click the triangle to the left of the chapter heading; now you'll see every page that includes the searched term within the chapter, along with the number of hits.
