Alberta Historical Landuse and Landscape Data Library
ALCES, a non-profit online educational data website states the library is NOT a substitute for the original data sources, but rather a convenient locale to view time series that illustrate key landuse and landscape metrics

GeoDiscover Alberta
Interactive Map Viewer (requires Silverlight installed), provides various grid layers, cadastral, disposition and imagery base maps, which can be annotated and printed

This site allows you to view Alberta Fish & Wildlife data and create and print your own maps
Alberta Geological Survey interactive Minerals Map
Bedrock, superficial geology, sediment thickness and topography layers are available. AGS also provides links for free downloads of its maps in .pdf format and as GIS digital datasets
Agroclimatic Atlas of Alberta
The Atlas describes the climate elements relevant to agriculture in Alberta and presents 29 sets of maps of agroclimatic characteristics

CalTopo - Kananaskis & Calgary Trails
Largely US-based, the map overlay features hiking trails in the Kananaskis area and Calgary, which can be exported to a GPSr.
