Open Educational Resources (OERs) for Vet Med
There are many free/open online resources for vets. Click the different tabs to view them by category. All of these resources are free of charge, and can be shared with colleagues outside UofC.

- InTech Open Book Series: Veterinary Medicine and ScienceThere are several books in this series, including works on equine science, farm animals, reproductive technology, and genetics.
- University of Georgia veterinary booksThere are over 40 books available from the University of Georgia on various veterinary topics, including several equine science titles. Note that these books are free, but only available for download from Apple Books.
- An Audio-Visual Guide to Client CommunicationThese short communication videos demonstrate common communication tasks such as taking patient history, empathy and assessing client knowledge.
- The Normal Canine (videos)This series of four videos are intended for first-year students of veterinary medicine
