Collections

Libraries and Cultural Resources (LCR) accepts monetary and in-kind donations for the general Library collection. Donations supplement the Library collection and regular Library purchase activities.

LCR reserves the right to accept or refuse prospective gifts. Items left at LCR locations without prior discussion with the Gifts Librarian will not be accepted.

Prospective donors should contact the Gifts Librarian with the following information:

1. Identifying information for individual items.

2. Lists of material are strongly encouraged. Photographs of items are helpful for assessment.

Visits by Library staff to examine and select from collections can be arranged.

Material must be in good condition and cannot have been exposed to moisture, mold, or excessive dust.

Financial contributions toward the processing of donated material are very welcome. This supports the long-term care and usability of donations.
