 -  produced by market research firms, these reports provide information about a market, product or service, target market, existing and potential customers, competitors and more.

Corporate social responsibility reports
 - produced by organizations or self-published by corporations, these reports include information on a company's initiatives to act responsibly regarding its impact on the environment, community and society.

 - provide country profiles and  information on country commerce, doing business in foreign countries, economic indicators, government structure, society and culture, political risk etc.
