These sites link to other datasets and/or repositories on all subjects. Some are basic lists, while others have search functions.

Australian Data Archive (ADA) "...a national service for the collection and preservation of digital research data."
Data Repositories Lists repositories and databases for open data, by subject.
Digital Social Science Lab: Open Data Sources From the Royal Danish Library. Lists many European sources.
figshare A repository of many different types of research output, including datasets. In the search, limit the "type" to "dataset".
FRDR (Federated Research Data Repository) Links to datasets of researchers affiliated with Canadian academic institutions. Basic and advanced search functions available.
OpenDoar "An authoritative directory of academic open access repositories", some of which may contain data.
Repository Finder Searches re3data (REgistry of REsearch data REpositories)
Scholars Portal Dataverse Repository primarily for the Ontario post-secondary institutions. See the "Partners" page to see which institutions may deposit there; note that those institutions my have elected to host their own data repository. Basic and advanced search functions available.
Elsevier DataSearch Research data search engine (beta)
Mendeley Data Indexes data from these repositories: 4TU, various DataVerses, Dryad, ICPSR, Zenodo, Apollo. Data is moderated.
Google Dataset Google Dataset is a search engine for public datasets. It enables users to find datasets across thousands of data repositories on the web.
