New gates to access the Taylor Family Digital Library

Students and staff will require their UCID card for access to gain entry to the library. Alumni and other community users can get a guest pass for visits during regular hours of the TFDL.

Alumni Database Access FAQ

• Alumni access now requires an IT Username  (what you previously logged into  your ucalgary email account with)
  • This was changed from eID in early 2022
• You can login with your ucalgary email account if you have used it within the last 12 months.
• If your account has been deleted (after 12 months of inactivity) or you graduated before they were issued you can register for a new alumni account at: https://alumniaccount.ucalgary.ca/

Alumni have access to the full suite of databases on campus. You must reserve a workstation and arrive during 1st floor service desk hours to get a guest login

JSTOR is a highly selective digital library of academic content in many formats and disciplines. The collections include top peer-reviewed scholarly journals as well as respected literary journals, academic monographs, research reports from trusted institutes, and primary sources.
