A guide to the political archives held by the University of Calgary Archives and Special Collections

About the Subject

The University of Calgary Archives and Special Collections holds a unique and valuable collection of political papers.  These range from the papers of the Calgary School of political thought, to local Calgary political figures, and to the records of the Reform Party of Canada.

The Archives and Special Collections is located in the Glenbow Western Research Centre (GWRC) on the second floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library. Additional storage and processing facilities are located at the High Density Library on the Spy Hill Campus of the University of Calgary. The archives are available for study at the GWRC by appointment only. We strongly recommend contacting the staff to discuss your research and schedule prior to making travel plans.
