Retrospective Theses and Dissertations Digitization Project
The University of Calgary Faculty of Graduate Studies, Alumni Office and Libraries and Cultural Resources completed a collaborative Retrospective Theses and Dissertation Digitization Project. This project was completed in August 2022. All theses produced at the University of Calgary between 1966 – 2012 with archives lending permissions were digitized and published in PRISM's Legacy Theses collection. These materials were only available to the public upon request to individual researchers prior to the completion of this project.
About University of Calgary Theses:
The University of Calgary Libraries and Cultural Resources (LCR) Theses and Dissertations collection provides a valuable historical archive of the research of the University of Calgary and the impact of our institution on the landscape of Canadian research since its inception in 1966.
Since 2013, University of Calgary graduate students openly disseminate their theses through Faculty of Graduate Studies’ electronic theses and dissertations repository program in partnership with LCR. This ensures that this important and unique information reaches as broad an audience as possible and contributes to new and on-going research. We now intend to expand this collection by digitizing the retrospective collection. Once digitized, this valuable scholarly output will be made available to the public and preserved for future accessibility.
We would like to thank WCD for their generous support in digitizing our legacy theses.
