Searching for consoles and games

The gaming consoles, input devices, and handheld systems are in the library catalogue.

If you know which game you are looking for, type in the name of the game in the search box and select "Title" from the dropdown menu.

To find a specific console, type the name of the console (e.g. xbox 360, nintendo wii) into the search box and select "Title" from the dropdown menu.

Using contemporary games:

The contemporary gaming collection is located on the third floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library, in Lab NEXT (room 330). Games can be browsed and checked for one week. To check out games, take them to the service desk on the first floor. Do not use the self check machines as game cases must be unlocked!

If you want to borrow contemporary games/consoles for a class, special event, or other project, please contact us with your request.

Using vintage games:

Vintage games and consoles (Nintendo NES, Intellivision, Atari, etc) will made available for in-library use upon request for UCalgary teaching and research. Please contact us with your request.
