Lab Exercise: No Coordinate System/Project 'on the fly'

  1. Open NoCoordinateSystem.mxd.
  2. Check data frame's coordinate system: within Table of Contents, double click Data Frame to open Data Frame Properties. Click Coordinate System tab - there is no coordinate system identified.
  3. Add data layer: CityofCalgary_OpenData_CityBoundary and UCMAPS_SportsFields. 
  4. Zoom to layer: UCMAPS_SportsFields.
