How to use the Reading List Service (Leganto)

This guide gives you step-by-step instructions on how to access and create your course reading lists in the Reading List Service through D2L

Overview

The Reading List Service (Leganto) is a collaborative web app that simplifies the creation and availability of Course Reading Lists. The Reading List Service is integrated with the library collection and supports multiple interfaces to enable instructors to add materials to their reading lists from different sources such as the library’s collections, databases, websites, bookstores, and the instructor's reference manager. The service then provides students with direct access to the readings.

Please connect with readinglist@ucalgary.ca to use the service or send questions, comments, and possible issues about the service to this email. Faculty members are encouraged to send their list of materials to this email as well for staff to create their course lists. The email can also be used to connect with Kathleen James for support on using the software in the form of demos and consultations.
