Transkribus

Job A: Add Tables (Editors, Owners)

You can do this on a laptop or desktop.

  1. Open the desktop Transkribus application.
  2. Login.
  3. In the Server tab, select the Glenbow Handwritten Registers.
  4. Select a document.
  5. Find a page that does not yet have a table created. 
    1. As of February 13, 2:00 PM:
      1. Negatives_Vol1 - after page 12
      2. Prints_Vol1 - after page 24
      3. Manuscripts_Vol1 - after page 20
  6. Mark up Text Regions (TR).
  7. Draw Table.
    1. Adjust table vertical lines to match up with corners.
  8. Add vertical lines.
    1. Adjust vertical lines to match angles.
  9. Add horizontal lines.
  10. Adjust cells as needed to match content.
  11. Select all cells.
  12. Go to Tools tab.
  13. Deselect Find Text Regions.
  14. Run.
  15. Save.
  16. Adjust baselines to match the text within cells.
  17. Save.
