APIs for Scholarly Resources

Provides access to metadata and full text of research articles gathered by CORE from various institutional repositories, subject repositories, open access journals and hybrid journals.

Requirements

An API key is needed to use this API. Request the API key here. 

Return Format

The API returns result in JSON format.

Limitations

• The maximum size for a result set using the API is 10,000 results, with 100 results per query.
• If you need to retrieve a larger amount of records, CORE recommends CORE Dataset, which is a collection of data dumps organized by year. You will need to register for access to use this dataset.
