Faculty of Education

As leaders in the classroom and the community, teachers play a central role in shaping the minds of future generations.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Identify individual and collective learning needs
  • Plan and deliver instruction for students working within approved curriculum
  • Role model positive relationships and communication for children and youth
  • Meet with parents and address concerns
  • Organize, manage and potentially supervise Teacher Assistants and parent volunteers
