This guide is intended to help you get started with your archival and rare book research at the University of Calgary.

Social Media

For social media posts, include at minimum the name of the archival repository and image reference number.

Examples:

Canadian Architectural Archives, PAN 57699-32.
Glenbow Library and Archives, PA-3689-957.

When a specific image number is not available, use a combination of the accession number and file number.

Examples:

University of Calgary Archives, 84.005, 77-0017-01.
University of Calgary Special Collections, 2012.004, 01.10.
